Sue is excited about her upcoming books, Hey There, Blue Bird!, which will be out next year (B&H Publishing, 2026), and Here and There: A Book About Earth and Heaven (Our Daily Bread, 2027). She has also written two middle grade sports books. Her nature features, biographies, and how-to craft articles for kids have appeared in Clubhouse Junior, Clubhouse, AppleSeeds, and Highlights for Children magazines, and on the popular educational resource website, Reading A-Z.

A former teacher, Sue is active in the children's writing community. She is a member of SCBWI and CANSCAIP, and serves on Write2Ignite's Planning Team and as their Time2Write coordinator.

When she’s not reading or writing, Sue can be found digging in the garden, designing and creating crafts, or cheering on her favorite athletes as they compete around the world.
