  • A discussion about gratitude and giving thanks

  • A peek inside a writer's toolbox

  • An opportunity for children to complete their own "Hey There" activity page

  • Q and A​

​For early middle grade children (ages 7 to 10, 45-60 minutes)

A fun and interactive presentation where Sue will:

  • Discuss the process of moving from an idea to publication (where ideas come from, research, writing, and editing and revising)

  • Read an excerpt from a nonfiction nature feature from Clubhouse Jr or Clubhouse magazine

  • Q&A

​For middle grade readers (ages 10 to 13, 45-60 minutes)​

An engaging presentation where Sue will:

  • Discuss the process of moving from an idea to publication (where ideas come from, research, writing, and editing and revising)

  • Read an excerpt from Safety Stars or Breaking Through

  • Q&A
