Sue Irwin writes for kids and teens. Her middle grade nonfiction books - Safety Stars and Breaking Through - have received several awards. These include being selected as "Best Books for Kids and Teens," included on the list of TD Summer Reading Club's "Recommended Reads," and shortlisted for the prestigious Silver Birch award. Sue has three upcoming books for children. Her board book, Hey There, Blue Bird! Why Do You Chirp? (B&H Publishing), is slated for publication in summer 2026, her middle grade devotional, Animals Making Headlines (Kregel), in winter 2027, and her picture book, Here and There: A Book About Earth and Heaven (Our Daily Bread), in fall 2027.
